Hi, i had an italian gp back in the 1970's, and recently bought a sil gp, is it me or are the kick start levers set further back, or shorter. I used to be able to take my gp off it's stand and kick start it ,whilst sat astride it, but not with this one. Anyone else noticed this ?

You will get variations between S1,2 and 3, but GP should be GP and shouldn't change. Possibly you might have a S2 kickstart fitted. I've seen that done.

You were probably wearing platform shoes in those days  or it may have had an SX lever fitted?
