Help! What the Feck has caused this on my mudguard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in pics 3 + 4 you can see how on the top its started and then spread over a few minutes...... its as if the peral has somehow bonded to the base coat and then the combined layers just expanded and lifted off the primer..... I pressed it and just went flat...... after a few mins I pushed the raised bits and it just split and I could easlily just peel it awa y to leave just the primer..... see last picture!
WHY??????
Whats the fecks 'appened here???

i have had this happen to me ........(as you think) i think that maybe the second coat went on after the first had started to go off and has not bonded together so the top coat then softens the primer again causing a de laminate effectpaulmgreen wrote:Rich... yes 2 coats of primer

The base coat is the matt green... then a second coat of pearl metallic lear,.... which is what caused this reaction.... pics were within 5 mins of spraying so was still wet
