Vespas in movies

I know Vespas have been used in a number of movies, including the 1950s era “Roman Holiday” staring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck.

So...

1) Was this version of “Roman Holiday” originally filmed in B&W or color?

2) What year(s) and model(s) of Vespa did the movie use?

Internet search has not revealed either answer so far.

Deffo filmed in b & w. Can picture scoot in my minds eye, but don't know what model it was. Must certainly be a very early one, as film was made in 1953! Could it have been a 'Faro Basso'? Just pulled up a clip on YouTube, and it certainly looks like one!
