I painted my scoot with 1k rattle cans which for home diy was suggested as the easiest method.
Unfortunately even though it was a gloss paint it didn't produce a decent shine even after flatting and machine polishing.
I then sprayed it with gloss clear coat, again 1k rattle cans and it did result in a slightly better shine.
The problem now is that the clear coat is too soft to flat and polish even after drying for four days.
Do I play the waiting game or do I carefully rebuild and polish in a few months time?
TIA.Kev

Hiya,
yes I knew that but sadly not til after I'd done the spraying!
I'll have to keep an eye on it but at least I didn't repaint the fuel tank, that's got its original paint so fingers crossed it's ok.
