Maybe. You should fit a bigger piston (MBdev does one) and a real pipe (sip road SS).

I,ve tried the real pipe suggestion doesn,t really make much of a difference and talkled to ks scooters about the oversize (200cc) piston and was told that wouldn,t make much of a difference either .

Seen this and watching for further updates on the link but is he actually using an ss180 engine ?

Sorry, been away from Scooterotica for a while. Quite busy lately (I'm a medical doctor in my real life)!
To answer your last question, my SS is not a daily commuter but I ride it as possible as I can.
I did recently some changes and got me this curry top end found on e-shops. A real crap(see pic 5, ports and the whole thing are a mess)! Had to buy me another piston at the right size (64mm) to get a good cylinder/piston play.
I now pulls easily a 23/67 primary drive using the DRT kit. This kit needs some grinding adjustment to set perfectly in place in the clutch pile. Be aware...
