Is it a 20mm carb? Generally it's about one and a half.

LI S3's had an 18mm carb as standard.

What carb is on there? If its 18mm then the main jet is way too big- you need around 105 for that set up.

If its 20mm then I would be looking at a 106/ 108 main

If its 22mm then possibly 118.

Depends of course on your atomiser; slide etc

The correct number of turns will be when the engine responds on and off to throttle cleanly and pulls away from idle smoothly. So 1.5 turns is a good starting point but it could end up anywhere from 3/4 to 2.5 depending on the pilot jet and other jetting. Adjust when engine warmed up and after each small adjustment you need to rev it to clear and then reassess.
