The tie bar must be free to pivot at both ends otherwise you will effectively lock the suspension, the tie bar I got with my anti dive kit had a crude type of rose joint to allow this. I wouldn't leave nuts and bolts loose on suspension though   :o

or you can change it for some proper rose joints as I did.

Nice BGM front dampers, nice powerful disc brake, alloy wheel etc.
So why the crap bracket for the lower damper mounting?
I had them one, both sheard through due to metal fatigue.

I got a great pair of the right trailing links, made by MBD, and they are superb.
Spanner check the running gear before every outing, like in the Army. You know it makes sense!
