TS1 ?

Is there a preferred engine casing for building a ts1 engine,or not.

A lot of people believe Spanish engines jet 200 are the strongest casting, most series 3 Spanish castings can be modified to suit 125, 150, 200. Italian engines would be good as well but expensive. Indian engine casings will also do. pay your money you take your choice.

opinions are a little divided in the use of the Spanish 200 as they are known to crack on the mag side transfer if overly ported but to be fair this could happen on any case you use ... the newer Indian cases do have two issues relating to the drive side seal not centering properly and the rear break cam being off centre

well ... preffered would be for most spanish or italian but the issues with the indian cases can be over come ...

I've only ever had TS1's on two motors[including my current motor] and both have been on Indian casings.Never had any issues with either of these casings.I wouldn't have Italian cases matched up to a cylinder kit though ,because of the cost.I'd keep em standard and put em towards my pension fund.
