On most of the full frame race scooters I have seen, they seem to use a different style of exhaust than road scooters.

I know they do not run a kickstart and that allows them to exit straight rather than sweeping upwards and over the kickstart.

The race ones also seem to sit higher up underneath the frame and give more ground clearance.

Who makes these exhausts and where can you get them from?

Cheers :fb:

Yes as above full Group 4 race exhausts are all and made to suit engine and power characteristics

They indeed sit higher and are made specifically to give maximum ground clearance. Most race bikes are direct air cooled via an air scoop as flywheels with fins are usually removed with just a small flywheel or ignition rotor. This also allows the exhaust to be further tucked up on the left hand side into the space normally taken up by the flywheel.

Give John Howe a call at Jahspeed and he will make you something to suit the characteristics of your engine.
