This is my first scoot after a gap of nearly 40 years. For me it had to be a series 3 slimstyle and when this came up I thought it was worth grabbing.
It's a bit of a bitsa but that doesn't worry me.
I've got a few things I want to do to it (and a few things I've already done to it), the motor comes out this week for a little work.
Hope it meets with approval!

Thanks, I like it everytime I take the dust covers off and see it again.
The engine is a SIL 200cc casing with AF 58mm race crank, 225 Mugello kit, 30mm PHBH, JL3 pipe and 12v electronic ignition.
I have fixed one problem with it bogging down from take off and now it runs quite nicely, apart from some 4 stroking at low throttle openings.
I will be taking the motor out next week to check the squish, port timings and to match the manifolds to the engine (I know the inlet is mismatched by a mile! ).
I have an Anti dive kit and some other stainless steel bits from ScootRS to fit and I plan to fit an MTech ignition unit and SIP speedo/rev counter at some stage.

Stunning & very similar to the colour I choose for my Li150.
Love to know how you set up those indicators at the back as I want to do that with my SX150 which I want to use as my daily rider & you NEED indicators in Sydney traffic.
Could you PM me the info?

Hi Barry, so you chose Maserati colours, mine are BMW!
I'll take some pics of the rear indicator installation for you. (might even post them in this thread, I always think you can't have too many pics )

Here you go Barry, If you have the original SX rear light I don't know how much room you would have. As you can see I have a stainless steel unit (Isn't stainless a bugger to drill!). The most time consuming part of the fitting was making the little alloy spacers to compensate for the slope/angle of the rear light housing. I ended up making them out of a solid peice of ally.
The indicators I used were these ones:
A grand total of A$3.50 delivered! I tried some led indicators but they weren't bright enough for daytime use (I think these ones should be OK but I've only just fitted them so I'm not sure)
