Does the casing need trenched for the 62?

Richard would be best answering that as the case I put mine in already had the trench taken out for previous cranks that I have ran in that case.

It only needs the lightest of touches. The 60 stroke goes straight in, the 62 would require 1mm removing to give same clearance as the 60 stroke. You might get away with 0.5mmrosscla wrote:Does the casing need trenched for the 62?
Fired up another new GT250 for the 1st time the other day.
A few test runs this weekend and if all is well it's owner will be out and about on it soon.

after spending the week reading all 43 pages of this brilliant topic and edens videos and lessons I think back to 1974 at thirteen messing with my first li150 all you had for advice were the older lads who had got you interested in the first place and in darlington were iam from there was no scooter shop we had to go to lens at Shipley anyway what iam getting at is all we do now is press a couple off buttens and you can all the advice you want on new products ,were from, and ,how mutch plus the crack is great by the way I have just fit a rt195 (nicasali) mb clubman and 30mm I will let you no how I get on

Received a Franspeed race snail, will be using this on my GT200 when it arrives but will try it out for fitment on the gt186 tonight. If only the bloody snow could go away.
