Today is a free day for me,
I'm gonna fit it.
The only question that I have is,
should I use an uprated selector spring or a standard one?

I'm using MB uprated springs,I'll probably use it on the Cyclone too.

So what exactly were you doing on a Lambretta in Spain a couple of years back? That's one heck of a 'pint of milk' trip!Train Driver wrote:just to the shops and back, i don't do scooter runs or meetsMel K wrote:Where are you going in July?

Dean told us to use the standard one.Dimitrios_231 wrote:It's not included in the kit.jonashford wrote:What comes with?

I had one of the MB uprated gear selector springs.....i'll never fit one of them anymore. Too stiff, makes gear changes too slow....

Dean also told me that there won't be any problem using a new, good quality standard one.
MB springs are not easy for gearchanges when new,but after some miles they always get easier and definately give more positive gearchange feeling, but they still remain harder than standard

I finally fitted the stronger standard that I had.
After messing with some washers,I ended up shimming with a 1.93mm washer that I had spare.
