Carb question

Hi all iv got a 125 series 1 with a 250 top end and kegra pipe it's running a standard ma18bs5 carb for a 125 this is how it came to me I wanted to know could I use a sh1 /18 of a series 3 150 I only want to use it like this till Xmas when it will come of the road again to maybe put a 175 on it I'm not after a speed monster would just like to maybe get 60 when all do cheers
