Hi folks
I have an ’78 P200e (no battery with turn signals) and I’m trying to sought out the headset wiring.
There are two indicator lights on the headset, one orange for the turn signal, and one green for the lights.
My confusion is with the green light. Currently it’s ON with main beam and goes OFF with hi-beam.
My logic tells me it should be wired as a hi-beam warning but the wiring diagram and it’s description in the manual “head and tail light indicator” don’t agree.
So in a nutshell:
When should the green light be on?
Main beam only? High Beam only? or Both?
Ta.

I've got a '84 P200E, same set up as you and my headset indicator comes on with high beam (when it works!). What wiring diagram are you using? This one names it as the "high beam bulb";

Hmm. Green light for hi-beam seems logical.
Do you know if yours is wired like the scooterhelp diagram?

As above the green is just an indication that the lights are on so it comes on with side light, high and low beam.

High beam warning lights tend to be blue, been a while since I had a MK1 P so can't remember if there was one at all. Seems sensible to leave it as is though.

Thanks chaps.
I'll proceed with the spaghetti knitting on the basis it's a lights on indicator. ;)

According to this schematic, the blue bulb indicator is for bright lights. Which makes sense in the states, since two wheeler headlights are now supposed to be always own.

The neutral indicator light depends upon a switch in the selector box
