Just wondering about the break set up for my very slowS2 build. Because I want to keep the head set fairly standard (dif speedo but that's it) I was thinking semi hydraulic so the question is,
who has this set up
does any one run the Oiltek version
how do they compare to standard and full 'H'

I like the look of the Oiltek but I wondered if the longer cable effected operation.

The shorter cable sounds good but how difficult is it fixing the bracket under the horn

It would be good to get feedback from anyone running these set uo's , especially the Oiltek version.
Cheers in advance guys.

I have the a semi hydraulic front brake on my series 2 (ScootRS disc complete).. Works great, it gets better as the pads bed in, miles better than the standard drum that was on there previously. The remote master cylinder fits under the horn casting quite easily, the horn has to be re-positioned.
See picture..

Another picture. Home made bracket for the master cylinder by the way...

Hope this helps....
