I think it looks great, I really do, but why the worm drive speedo and not the pick up method?

Im presuming the worm drive issue is what they have been working on. Perhaps the fitting at the bottom of the cable will be of a more efficent Germanic design.... :o The internals are meant to be the same as the vespa one thats already on sale so this part shouldnt be an issue presuming the Lambretta can give out the right power ouput..? this only speculation on my part though... :D

How come the needle is moving but the digital reading remains at zero?

Because the needle is the rev counter, speedo is the digital display and the bike is not moving.

It looks a bit like something out of a 70s scifi TV show to me. I can't say as I'd be tempted to that rather than a Trailtech one, which looks wicked.
