Hello,

Piston circlip broke and went up the side of the piston :x

Can this barrel still be salvaged and used and if so what is the best way to do it?

As you can see the only real damage is to the boost port edges, can I just smooth these with a dremmel?

The seize marks all around the boost ports need to be looked in to.

As far as the physical damage to the ports you should be able to smooth them out without too much issue.

They aren't actually seize marks Grumpy, they are where the circlip tang was dragged up and down the barrel.

I was going to try and carefully polish them out

They might come out with a hone. Have to find the right shop that can work plated cylinders of course.
