It's a try it and see scenario then.Buy the stuff from a respected knowledgeable scooter dealer if unsure.

Do not use "limited slip" gear oil as this refers to a limited slip car differential. Do not use "hypoid" gear oil as this is is for ring and pinion rear axles on cars. I only use / have used: Rock ST-90, BelRay Gear Saver for wet clutch 80 wt., and Maxima MTL-E 85 wt. (my favourite but can't find it around here) and Runge 90 wt. from Germany.

Ah yes!!!, at last GP Kevo an appreciation of Maxima's MTL 85, far superior to ST90, and I sell both. Far more protection for your Gearbox and engine bottom end.
