series 2 side panel handle bodywork rusting through

hi does anyone no if you can buy a replacement patch for a series 2 mine have rusted through where the panel handle fits through any advice

do you mean the hole on the panel itself? if so get your old panel and put socket in the raised section inside (youll have to drill off the inner bracket first ) as a size guide ,get a nother piece of metal you are going to use as a patch and give the soket a good tap over a bigger socket on the other side this will give you the raised section you need ,drill a hole through the same size as your handle bolt and then weld in your patch after cutting it to size simples ,hope you make sense of this and it helps cheers gav
