A mate of mine bought this from the original owner Turid about 8 years ago.

He did a good job of the resturation and used it on loads of rallies and traveled all over Scandinavia on it.

It had BRG sidepanels and loads of original stuff on it and had a standard 200 engine in it.

I bought it of him three years ago and rebuilt the engine with a TS1, 30 mikuni, disk brake, sip speedo and loads of other stuff. I have used this on Rallies the last two years and the paint started to look a little tired.

While I had some down time last week faffing around with my PM disk brake I sent the pannels and horncast to the painter. The paint in general is showing signs of usual wear and tear but a little to nice for a full paint job.

There are some holes in the mudguards and footboards and a couple of splits in the bodywork but still very useable.

The thing is that in order to match the rest of the paint, I ask the painter to use a 30%/70% mix of matt and gloss clear coat and i`m chuffed to bits with the result because you wouldn`t know its been re-painted.

Anyway, I was getting a bit fed up sleeper look and quite frankly I am an attention hore and hate the fact that NOBODY commented on my scoot when we were out and about.

I have also binned the single seats after my Danish rally 2 weeks ago. 900km`s on those things was horrible! Arrgghh, my arse was killing me. Not that I think this little sporty number is any more comfy but having the abillity to move around a little helps a lot.

So, after riding custom scooters for a few years (scarred to death of scratching stuff) I have decided not to go down the murals and fancy paint job route but jump on the signwriting bandwagon.
I don`t know of any that has done that over here i Scandiland so it should stick out a little. 50`s Rockabilly style.

Stay tuned....
