Hi Minority, I would contact Silkolene with regards to your use of their oil, but personally would not go any higher in number than a GL3. Hi Dopeshots, Don't know why anyone would want to run multi grade oils?? But yes 10w/40 or 15w/50 would work ok in a Lambretta, as long as they carry the Jaso MA spec, which is Motorcycle engine oil for use with wet clutches and not 10w/40 car engine oil which as friction modifiers like Molybdenum w...

Dopeshots, Maxima MTL 85 is a GL3 Gear Oil, which means it has mild EP additives. These additives offer more protection to mating parts by creating a chemical barrier between Gears etc. As a comparison Rock Oil ST90 is a GL1 oil and as such as no additives other than anti-foam etc. Just to be clear,...

We're not racers Doom Patrol, but we do sponsor Chiselspeed Team and RGC Team in France, both using Maxima Oil.
We do the conversion, as you rightly say, it's on our website. Price averages out around £140/150 and that includes vapour blasting your casing.

Ah yes!!!, at last GP Kevo an appreciation of Maxima's MTL 85, far superior to ST90, and I sell both. Far more protection for your Gearbox and engine bottom end.

Had same problem on Spain euro, now use spray on oil and filter cleaner, no problems, Barnsley lamb centre will have on is stall at Scarborough.
