Re: pickup failure?
Haha! http://www.lambretta.co.uk/shop/electronic-pick-p-940.html Cheers adam solid recommendation. I may choose to replace it anyhow, and then i can use the k2 as a spare that may or may not be slightly defective. Higher reading would be cool anyway, would love a pickup that reads above 100, can may...

Re: pickup failure?
I hear you Adam, and do in part perceive you in slight as a bit of an oracle. I should confirm my LT coil is fine, thanks for asking. Its an old vespa converted stator, so all other coils are piaggio. it did have a failed pickup however, so swapped it for a k2 from a failed indian stator i had...

pickup failure?
Recently replaced my flywheel, and since have a touch of trouble. Scooter sometimes doesn't like to rev out. Logic would dictate its pickup alignment, but that surely would be a constant, whereas im experiencing an intermittent problem. So sometimes it revs cleanly out, and sometimes it doesnt. Can ...

Re: Transfer tuning on RT195
seems like your well set up to do the work so you may as well. Its all about good flow. Whether you would actually notice the difference on the road? not sure, but at higher revs any obstruction is going to limit the rate of flow. I use a late li 125 gearbox with 17 front sprocket and never really n...

Re: TS1 running temp
There is ofcourse a temperature at which ally will melt; ie your piston. I would be wary however, of relying on a CHT alone to warn you of imminent failure. A cht is generally slower to react than an egt, and may be of no use in event of failure. It is also worth reading into the relationship betwee...

Re: Flywheel weights experiment
cheers yanker. I was thinking the same re pickup alignment. Annoying though as height is same as another stator I had, and both have worked (just not with this flywheel. suppose there in lies the answer.) The tickover thing is not so much of an issue that can't be worked around, but I have noticed a...
