I don't know why he wants a standard exhaust, he just does, it's not something I would choose personally really , but he has asked me to do it for him so that's what he'll get
Could it be then that you can not run a Ts1 on an SX with a filter at all,ever

A couple of Ts1 questions
A Friend has a taffspeed ts1 engine. It runs a 30 mm vhsa carb and original Taffspeed exhaust. He has a couple of things he wants to change and I need a bit if advice on that There Is a lot of spit back from the carb and he wants some sort of filter fitting. It is an SX 200 , and at the moment there...

An update, following re seating the carb and the head its fine now, it looked like it was probably leaking.

I plugged the clutch breather and it just seems to be the same, 4 stroking and unable to set the tick over. Is there anything else I could check, don't want to strip the whole engine down for no reason

A friend is having a problem with his px 200. Standard barrel and carb, JL right hand exhaust, 120 main jet. I have just fitted a Malossi 166 kit and it has a metallic tapping/ knocking noise when running I can't replicate this when I turn the engine by hand it seems fine I have refitted the original barrel and piston and it's ok, no tapping The kit was bought second hand, and although it visually looks ok...
