...exhaust fitting is always a bit of an art...been lucky to have ralph saxilby clubman which is tailor made perfect fit....but i've recently fitted mk1 ancillotti.....tricks are to make sure it goes on/off without any straining of brackets....fit brass nuts + washers to u pipe....plain nuts spring ...

...bad luck,i've got one on over 1k now and still in one piece.As stated it must fit straight on with no stress to brackets and should be secured on all fixings.Mine's not got the crank case one underneath but seems ok so far.I shortened tail pipe back to the crankcase clamp as I thought it was too ...
