Re: Replacement Boss / Indian Flywheel

To be fair to the dealer, he did send a replacement flywheel, however, the same problem persisted. I drilled out the flywheel boss and replaced it with an old L.I. Electronic one I had in the garage and it lines up 100% correct. I bought some 12:9 high tensile bolts from a local supplier and used so...

Re: Replacement Boss / Indian Flywheel

The supplier has responded and is sending out a replacement kit. I will compare the two kits, and post up any obvious changes / differences. If nothing else, this might save someone else from a headache.

Re: Replacement Boss / Indian Flywheel

I got it via Ebay...I know that I shouldn't have, but I did. I tried to contact the supplier, but a week later, no reply, or response. It would be pretty easy to drill the rivets out and replace the boss, securing via high tensile bolts etc, but I just wanted to know if anyone else has done this, an...

Replacement Boss / Indian Flywheel

Re: 28 PHBH with Power Jet

You could blank the power jet off ! Just put a bolt in it, its m5 i think. then blank each end of where the hose comes out of the float bowl and into the carb body , and jet as a non pj carb . I've got a phbh with a power jet on an imola , I could give you the getting for that if you want ? Russ ch...
