Can't slow tickover down TMX38
I picked up a TMX38 for 25 quid on eBay to try on my RB20. It goes like a rocket with it on - previously had VHSH 30. I'm running a seven7 manifold so it uses a plate manifold from Allens. Trouble is i just can't get the idle speed to come down to something reasonable. I'm running a 22.5 pilot, 325 ...

Thanks chaps. I have connected an earth to the headset - bare metal. That still leaves the spliced wire from the earth. I have done this like the sparkright example. I'm sure it's simple but I still only have a taillight and side light. Where does this spliced wire go?

I'm currently doing this on my GP. In my block connector the red is the earth - according to all diagrams I have seen. So I have the blue and yellow on the block connected to the blue and red wires from the switch. I have spliced a wire from the red (earth) wire on the block and I have been plugging...

Same thing happened to me in Italy in August when it was really hot. Mine turned out to be the kickstart reference pin!

No need for apologies Ron. I understand your frustration on this. Having seen your prototype I'm certain it will be worth the wait in terms of performance and quality. I still believe that yours will be the one to have. Glad I'm on the list for one of the first batch if that's still the plan of course

I got a rubber for an LTH reedvalve to fit a TM24 which was a massive improvement over the original. I would recommend Allens as well. Have used them on several occasions in the past. Always excellent service. Their website is very useful as it gives exact dimensions of rubber manifolds etc.

I've got the NK road pipe and have just fitted one of Andy Francis's new dome ended silencers in the hope it would quieten the thing down.
