Re: Cht readings
Going fot a blast and then leaving to tick over will give a low reading. Your engine wont get upto running temp in less than 7 miles. Even then if you did 20 miles then let it tickover for 10 mins the reading would be between 70-90.

Keeping an eye on the road might be the thing to do rather than looking at gizmos.

Re: Another Programmable Ignition
I downloaded the software last night. You can save a few curves on your laptop and easily swap between them if you carry your lap top with you while setting it up. Close enough isnt ideal Martin, especially if the engine you run is very different to the normal. It looks to me like this is the best o...

Tumble weed here. It looks like eden was right about no one wanting to give secrets away, either that or most people reading this have no clue.

Re: porting/tuning newbie / guide to homebrew tune
As I understand it. Your -1 should be 1 and your inlet measurement should be top of barrel to bottom of the port.
why are you unable to measure the piston inlet skirt?

Re: Fuel starvation(float needle+valve)?
Its obvious that the pipe should be flowing more than what is required at the needle valve, only a moron wouldn't check that first. Stating which kit requires which valve is rather short sighted unless you are referring to the kits in standard format, a standard ts225 running down the motorway revin...

Re: Fuel starvation(float needle+valve)?
I asked my tuner and he said that it should be from the float needle valve because if the needle valve isnt allowing enough flow through it you could have ten gallons a second coming out of the end of the fuel pipe but the engine will still suffer fuel starvation due to the needle valve restricting ...
