Re: Rear Brake Light cannot get to work - i just need....
Drew, the feed for the brake lights should come straight off the live from the stator, I don"nt think it goes through the ignition switch the one i have has two reds at the switch, which then go to the rear, the front brake two browns (one ignition, one loom, and one i adapted to go from hydra...

Re: Rear Brake Light cannot get to work - i just need....
Drew, can't you just take another wire from the same connection that goes to the front brake, take it to the rear brake light switch on the frame strut and from the other connection on the rear brake light switch to the rear brake light itself. That should be it. Your terminations are a lot better ...

Re: MOT help SCOOTRS IGNITION no front light
If the ignition earth has a bullet on it then extends on to a ring terminal you can plug this into the white socket on the bulb holder, earth the ring and do away with the white earth to the headlight rim. This one wire will then earth both the ignition and lights. I did away with that one sometime...

Rear Brake Light cannot get to work - i just need....

Narrowed it down i think to the wiring of the grey - on a wiring diag in stickys p224 its the one i need (i think) its on its own, what can i put with it to make live - from scootrs ignition...

Re: Rear Brake Light cannot get to work
dapper - I agree so no offence taken, you were just pointing out the truth. Could you recommend what sort of holder a halogen would require, also the correct size bullets. I noticed the ones i had in my kit didnt fit the sensor beneath the brake either. I have used the light for sometime and so far ...

Re: Rear Brake Light cannot get to work
looking at that link is a little confusing. this one maybe better http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/druist/DropBox02#5467868682194135170 Will go out and get a multimeter as I have changed the sensor, one of the cables is fine, if i swap it around in the sensor the light dims. Dont know if that is releva...
