Tried heating it, penetrates oils etc plus the gentleman's persuader to no avail. Let it sit for a week while I ordered a 100mm puller and that popped it straight off

Re: Scootopia Clubman/Big Bore opinions.
I suspect they haven't developed this from scratch unlike BGM who put a considerable effort on to theirs and will give support and recommendations on fitting with various engine / carb configurations but probably copied something on the market... Besides the shortcomings of bit having first hand sup...

Re: Clutch f@@ked - engine?
Will do!
The clutch sat so hard on the taper a three legged puller was needed to get it off.
Despite this it had still rubbed the clutch cover leading me to believe the play was there but will double check

Re: Clutch f@@ked - engine?
Can't understand it either... Especially Not since this ran absolutely fine prior to storage. Must have fallen over or something of the kind that have knocked something out of alignment.
Think the engine is liquid sealed so will be a nightmare splitting it ;(

Watch the video, can you see the axial play?mick1 wrote:Can't see the crank "floating". There would also be issues on the flywheel side and if the big end bearing was loose you'd certainly have other noises and issues.

Re: Clutch f@@ked - engine?
It's a 200 engine, I was running it hears ago but has been lying in a dark corner of my garage for the last 5 years or so before I fitted it and noticed the clutch issue.
The washer was there (it's got a slot for the woodruff key)...

Re: Clutch f@@ked - engine?
Ok, clutch Bell off, nothing is warped fortunately! However, I'm convinced my clutch problem is due to the floating Crank, as the spring caps seem to have rubbed on the clutch cover: http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160414/f5c490c9cc52fcd8ee15dd02fe125aed.jpg So what is the crank play dependent on....

Re: Clutch f@@ked - engine?
Was thinking the Crank bearing and oil seal retaining clip could have popped of and the package moved, hopefully it could be enough to knocking it back once the clutch is off but how do I get it off?
Won't a three legged puller warp the drive plate...?

Clutch f@@ked - engine?
Need some advise here, just fitted a new engine into my px frame and took it for a test ride. Noticed the clutch was dragging and no adjustments made any difference. Thought I better take a look verifying no disks were warped but the clutch is stuck, rock solid. No amounts of brute force managed to ...
