It should have a battery tray if British from new. The very last batch of 1971 electronics came in without them.

SX150 and all GP/dl abandoned the mushroom baffle and the tailpipe design was changed also. I'm trying to find evidence that the last SX150s did indeed have the same silencer as the GP/dl - do you by any chance have any evidence that backs this up (it's for my current late SX150 resto). I have seen...

Rebuilt Engine
I have a newly rebuilt standard lambretta engine that is not now going to be used in a scooter for a couple of years (possibly more) so I need to store it and as it's not in a scooter it won't be getting started. Should I put oil in it or leave it dry? Advice please!

If it helps, here is my old SX150 painted in its original colour of biancospino/hawthorn white code 8082. It is a creamy white.
