Nope. The bloody broken reed petal got caught in the exhaust tail pipe & swivelled around to block it up every time the scoot was kicked over. :roll:

Get it sent to AF for a rebore and new piston, then they'll send it to the shower that run this gaff for tweaking. Did mine two or three years ago and its still going well. Good price all in, AND you can put a nice shiny 225 badge next to the SX on yer legshields. :D

I ride to work daily, not far but through the city centre which is where I find car drivers to be at their worst as they are in general frustrated with congestion and are always looking for the gaps to keep moving rather than smaller road users. A friend of mine in the sixties made a mudflap out of thick rubber and fit it in front of the splash plate,the mudflap was the width of the scooter and reached the ground when fixed in position,it looked very good and was very functional. Thats a good idea, as it wont get twatted everytime you bung...
