Lower fork bearing fitting, balls up or balls down?
Its been a while since Ive changed fork bearings and on my latest project scooter I decided to renew all of the bearings and races on the fork stem and frame. I bought a full kit from scootopia which was good and the parts fit well. The main fork bearing is however definitley two sided, meaning that...

Re: cable operated front disc poor performance
I had the same problem with a new scootrs remade internal disc.
The spring on the actuating arm was to weak. After swapping it for a new one, the brake worked fine.
The problem with the actuator was known about at the time, my shop exchanged the part frees of charge.

Are you the GF that has been featured in the Liverpool Echo frequently?
If so, was your Dad SAS or King of the Teds?
Just asking like, in a freindly front line soldier Kind of Way.

Re: LCGB - BLOA - Concessionaires......confusion
Randall , IIRC,had a good working knowledge of written english? This thread is becoming embarrasing for the "2" Gavs and I feel for them both, I wish they could realise how much they are damaging their venture and retire gracefully without causing further damage to their fledgling club/bus...

Re: GRP Panels
Chris did eventually reply to my first Mail, I sent him details as to the parts I require and everything has gone quite again. Getting to this stage has taken 5 weeks, I am still waiting for an answer regarding pricing. I asked about a rear frame with moulded GP panels, not as special as complete on...

Re: Scomadi fork issue series 3
Also had major problems with a set of Scomadi forks. Luckily I dry built before having my forks plated  I bought another new dust cover and bearing track kit which fitted well, the forks wouldn't seat into the frame tube with the dust cover fitted and left a large gap after tightening the Fork...
